UNFPA Mozambique’s 2020 Annual Report, Responding to a Year of Crisis, highlights the agency’s achievements, thematic priorities, and strategic enablers in supporting the Government and partners to reach the most vulnerable women, girls and youth in the country. 

2020 was a year unlike any other; COVID-19 impacted every country globally, but was hugely threatening to a country like Mozambique, who was responding to a conflict in the North, climatic impacts and continued recovery following Cyclones Idai and Kenneth. The report reminds us that when we work together, we become even more resilient, strategic and efficient as we positively transform the lives and lived realities of girls, women and youth in Mozambique.
