UNFPA is closely coordinating its response with the Government counterparts (National Institute of Disaster Management, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Gender and Social Action), UN agencies and other development partners to reach the affected people with life-saving services in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and response to achieve zero maternal deaths, zero unmet need for family planning and zero harmful practices.

UNFPA`s response is targeting the hardest-hit provinces of Sofala and Manica and other affected communities in Tete and Zambezia.
