Over 730,000 people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Cabo Delgado as a result of displacement due to attacks by non-state armed armed groups (NSAG) on rural communities. The GBV Area of Responsibility in Cabo Delgado continues to advocate for protection of civilians from risks of gender based violence. Communities must be accessible, agencies should be available, accountable and  with quality to deliver assistance safely, restore a protective environment for civilian populations and ensure compliance to Do No Harm principle.
