The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Office in Mozambique, invites qualified organizations to submit proposals for the implementation of projects and programs in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, gender, youth, population and development, and humanitarian action. The purpose of this call for proposals is to identify non-governmental organizations eligible for future partnerships with UNFPA, Mozambique Office, to support the achievement of the objectives set out in their recently prepared Country Program Document (2022-2026).
Interested organizations must express their interest in two steps, as follows:
- Submission of a letter acknowledging receipt of the call for proposals, with the expression of interest in collaborating with UNFPA under the 2022-26 Program, within five (5) working days after the announcement of the call for proposals.
- Proposal submission, in English, within twenty-one (21) days after the announcement of the call for proposals, using a form to be requested via the email below, which can also be downloaded here.
Documents can be submitted under the title “Call for Proposals – NGOs - UNFPA” to the following email: moz.callforproposals@unfpa.org
Proposals received after the deadline will be immediately disqualified.
Any requests for additional information must be sent, in writing, one week before the deadline, to the email above. UNFPA will respond to questions and requests for clarification from any NGO before the deadline for submission of proposals.
UNFPA will notify bidding organizations of the results of the call for proposals.
Because UNFPA is against sexual exploitation and abuse, find relevant information here about the obligation for all UNFPA implementing partners to complete the assessment on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).
